Two Vietnam hotels ranked number 4th and 5th among top five in the world

The honour was part of the 2013 World’s Best Awards, the 18th annual survey by the world’s highest circulating magazine of the finest “hotels, destinations and companies that define the very best in travel”.

The Metropole punctuated its achievement by making the grade in two other categories, including Top 100 Hotels at No. 52 and Best City Hotels in Asia at No. 5, three grades higher than last year. A historic luxury landmark since 1901, Sofitel Legend Metropole offers pampering spa services, 24-hour room service and a heated swimming pool. It has wonderful location and near Hoan Kiem Lake. Still retaining the hotel’s original grandness, rooms feature either an elegant neo-classical theme or classic French decor. Offering a blend of Eastern and Western therapies, guests can indulge with a massage and body treatment at Le Spa du Metropole. Housing a private dining room and outdoor terrace, Spices Garden serves Asian and Vietnamese specialities. Other dining options include Angelina Italian Restaurant and Lounge and Le Beaulieu French Restaurant.

 

 

 

The Nam Hai ranked fourth in the Top 10 Hotel Spas category and the central coastal resort took 12th in the Best Resorts in Asia. This is the first time The Nam Hai has won a World’s Best Award of any kind.

Situated on the unspoilt shores of Hoi An Beach, The Nam Hai offers luxurious villas with iPod docks and free Wi-Fi. It boasts of 3 beachfront pools and a spa. Spacious villas at Nam Hai feature walk-in closets. They offer flat-screen cable TV and BOSE sound systems. Guests can choose from 4 tennis courts or play a game of badminton or basketball. A library is available for those who wish to read. A variety of activities are available for children at Kids’ Club. The Restaurant offers guests the chance to dine by the sea while tasting the best of Vietnamese and international cuisine. Beach Restaurant serves an assortment of seafood and grills. The spa rankings are based on readers’ ratings for ambiance, treatment packages, service, facilities and value for money, while hotel rankings are based on ratings for rooms/facilities, location, service, value for money and restaurants/food.
