What an Online Tour Sales Specialist Does

Being an Online Tour Sales Specialist is far more than simply making sales – it’s a multifaceted role that combines elements of travel consulting, customer service and creative problem-solving. You are the essential bridge between curious travelers and the unforgettable experiences they dream of.

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for travelers seeking guidance, inspiration and support. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Responding promptly and professionally to inquiries received through multiple channels such as email, live chat and various messaging platforms. Each message is an opportunity to make a positive impression and provide clear, helpful information.

Listening carefully and understanding customers’ preferences, interests and travel expectations. By asking thoughtful questions, you help uncover what truly matters to each traveler and recommend the most suitable tour packages tailored to their unique needs.

Customizing itineraries to create personalized travel plans that reflect the client’s budget, schedule and desired experiences. This requires creativity and an in-depth knowledge of destinations, activities and logistics.

Coordinating closely with our operations team, local guides and partners to ensure that every booking runs smoothly and all arrangements are confirmed accurately. Your attention to detail helps prevent issues before they arise and guarantees a seamless travel experience.

Building strong, trusting relationships with travelers by communicating clearly, warmly and consistently throughout the entire booking process. Your ability to empathize and connect makes travelers feel valued and confident in choosing our services.

Following up with potential leads nurturing their interest with timely information and encouragement and ultimately converting inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Your role is pivotal – you do more than sell tours; you inspire confidence, provide reassurance and help travelers embark on journeys they will cherish forever. Through your dedication and expertise, you ensure that every traveler feels genuinely cared for and excited about the adventure ahead.

Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Fluent in English and/ or French
  • Passionate about travel and customer service
  • Skilled in written communication
  • Organized, detail-oriented and responsive
  • Able to work comfortably with online tools and basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Previous experience in tourism or sales is helpful but not required. We value potential, attitude and the willingness to learn.
