Travel to Vietnam from India
Indian travelers are required to obtain a visa to Vietnam when coming to our country. Apart from New Delhi and Mumbai, there are no Vietnamese Embassy/consulate offices in other major cities of India where you can visit and get a Single Entry or Multiple Entry visa sticker in your passport. These Visas are useful if you would like to extend your stay in Vietnam without leaving the country.
In addition, before traveling to Vietnam, make sure your passport is over six months validity beyond your travel date to Vietnam and you must have at least one blank visa page.

Weapons, anti-government documents, pornography, and illegal drugs (cannabis is included) are not allowed to bring to Vietnam. Wild animals, precious stones and rare plants must be excluded from your luggage. If you need to bring prescript medicines, make sure you have the prescription with you.

In Vietnam, only Vietnam Dong (VND) is accepted in any purchasing transactions. At some places like hotels, restaurants, souvenir stores, etc., travelers can use US Dollar to pay for the goods and services.
When you come to Vietnam, you should exchange your Indian Rupees to Vietnamese Dong (VND) at your place since Indian currency is not used worldwide.
