Hue was once Vietnam feudal capital from 1802 to 1945. This small and quiet city is widely known for magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in many small villages and surrounding hills.

We spend this afternoon to visit Hue with the massive citadel, containing the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City. This royal residence was all destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive; however it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins.

We were 2 matured couples looking for short break and cjose o spend 5D/$N in Central Vietnam, to avoid the chaos of HCM and something different from Halong Bay, so I googled C Vietnam and came across these folks. t was a well-organised tour and at a more than reasonable cost - good hotels, well-located for exploration at night for Foodies, that we are.. We were provided a well-informed English speaking guide and a niice comfortable mini-bus that was helmed by a helpful and punctual driver. Well Done Paradise Travel! JeffreyH
