  • Chengdu: Since it is situated in the fertile plains of the Red Basin, Chengdu is endowed with an abundance of precious resources to develop agriculture. With the history of more than 3000 years, it is understandable that Chengdu is the home to various historical, religious and cultural sites. Famous Sichuan food, panda breeding center, and traditional teahouses are worth visiting.
  • Xian: Located on the starting point of the ancient Silk Road, Xian (means ‘West Peace’ in Chinese) used to be an imperial capital of China for 13 dynasties in 1000 years. Historically named Chang’an, Xian is considered the root of Chinese civilization. Terracotta Army, considered as the most important archeological excavation in China which was only be found in 1974, is the most sought-after attraction in this city.
  • Beijing: Beijing is one of the most ancient capitals of the world. It is the largest city in China after Shanghai with a population of 22 million people. Combining both historical and metropolitan aspects, Beijing is the center of China’s economy, politics, culture, and technology. It is a giant city with several fascinating attractions and bustling lifestyle.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Chengdu

Upon arrival in Chengdu Airport, a local guide will greet you and then transfer to check in at hotel. You will have time to discover Chengdu yourselves.

Day 2 : Chengdu

Breakfast

After a breakfast at your hotel, your tour begins with Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. You can have a chance to discover the adorable pandas, a national treasure of China. Besides, you can visit the nursery houses, where the newly born panda babies stay.

Kuanzhai Alley (Broad and Narrow Alley)

In the afternoon, we will continue our trip to Broad and Narrow Alleys. This place used to be the local people’s residence, and developed into a cultural quarter. After that, we head to Jinsha Site Museum to sense the civilization and history of Sichuan Province.

Day 3 : Chengdu – Xian

Breakfast

Take a morning high-speed train to Xian in around 4 hours. Our guide will pick you up at the North railway station and transfer to the hotel.

Xian Ancient City Wall

In the afternoon, you will visit the ancient City Wall, the iconic image of Xian. Built during Ming dynasty in the 14th century, Xian Ancient City Wall is considered as one of the most magnificent military defensive systems in the world.

Day 4 : Xian

Breakfast & Lunch

In the morning, our guide will accompany you to visit the Terracotta Warriors, the world’s largest underground military museum. It was constructed as a funerary art to accompany Qin Shi Huang’s tomb, the first emperor of China. These terracotta warriors were served as the emperor’s afterlife guard.

Afterwards, we drive back to downtown and enjoy a la carte lunch at a local family. It is a great time for you to enjoy delicious homemade dishes and understand Chinese culinary art.

Next, you will visit the Xian Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a delicate Buddhist site surviving from the Tang Dynasty. Continue the trip to the Muslim Street.

Day 5 : Xian – Beijing

Breakfast

Take a high-speed train for around 5.5 hours to Beijing. You will be greeted by our guide at the railway station and transferred to the hotel. Have a rest for the remaining day.

Day 6 : Beijing

Tiananmen Square

Today, we will set off to Tiananmen Square – the largest city center square in the world.  This place was originally built during Ming dynasty in 1415 and there were many political events happened at Tiananmen Square since then. Only 5 minutes drive from the square, the Forbidden City is one of the most well-preserved wooden constructions of the world. Elegantly designed in red and yellow, the Forbidden City represents the social position of ancient emperors during feudalism.

This afternoon, we will continue our trip to the Temple of Heaven, the most important imperial temple in China.

Day 7 : Beijing

Breakfast

In the morning, we will visit one of the eight world wonders, the Great Wall. We will spend our time in Badaling, which is the best-preserved part.

Ming Tomb

In the afternoon, your visit will continue to the Sacred Way and Ming Tomb. On the way back to our hotel, we will drive by the Bird’s Nest (Olympic National Stadium).

Day 8 : Departure from Beijing

Summer Palace

The guide will greet you in the morning and take you to the Summer Palace. The palace garden was the summer resort of the ancient royal families.

You are free at your leisure on your last day in China. Then, you will be transferred to the airport.

Children Policy

  • Free of charge for child under 5 years accompany with 1 full paying client, sharing room and food with parents. He/ she shall pay for air tickets (if any) and/ or incurred expenses
  • 75% charged for child from 5 – under 11 years accompany with 1 full paying clients, using services as an adult
  • Child age of 11 years up is subject to adult rate
