Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Luang Prabang arrival

Our guide and driver pick you up at the airport and transfer you to hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos.

Pm: In the afternoon you will visit the impressions of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat aham, Wat Xiangthong. You then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded status as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night Bazaar where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

Luang Prabang – Wat Visoun

Day 2 : Luang Prabang - Pak Ou

Breakfast

Am: This morning you may want to wake up early and participate in the daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black Alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the local people, including the ubiquitous sticky rice. Have breakfast at hotel.

After that you are transferred to boat pier for boarding a cruise upstream on the Mekong river which also gives us a taste of the tranquil countryside and an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop st Ban Xang Hai to visit the rice wine distillation. Have lunch at restaurant.

Pak Ou Caves

Pm: This afternoon you continue driving to the beautiful Khoangsi waterfall where you can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths, return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon and continue to Ban Phanom, a well known weaving village, return to the city by late evening for observing the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath. Have dinner at restaurant.

Day 3 : Luang Prabang visiting & departure

Breakfast

Am: Have breakfast at hotel. This morning you will visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign and the Central market are not to be missed.

After visiting these sights in the morning, you will have free time for your own exploration of the town and strolling around the shopping area. Have lunch at restaurant.

Pm: You have more free time to relax and more walking around streets for more exploration. After that depending on your flight time, the driver drops you off the airport for taking flight departure.

End of tour.

Children Policy

  • Free of charge for child under 5 years accompany with 1 full paying client, sharing room and food with parents. He/ she shall pay for air tickets (if any) and/ or incurred expenses
  • 75% charged for child from 5 – under 11 years accompany with 1 full paying clients, using services as an adult
  • Child age of 11 years up is subject to adult rate
