Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos Customized Tour in 17 Days

Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be picked up from airport to a hotel in Hanoi for relax. Dinner will be served at one of the nicest restaurants after brief discussion on tour.

After breakfast at hotel, start city tour with Hochiminh Complex for visit Hochiminh Mausoleum, Hochiminh Museum and One pillar pagoda.

Continue to visit Literature temple, the first University in Vietnam in 16th century. Have lunch in one of famous restaurant in Hanoi PM: Visit ethnological museum then have cyclo in the old quarter and visit Dong Xuan market, enjoy water puppet show in the afternoon.

One Pillar Pagoada – Hanoi

Pick up at your address in Hanoi at 8:30AM and drive to Halong.

Arrive at 12:00noon. At Halong port, our Crew welcomes you on Junk, enjoy welcome drink & check into your cabin. Lunch with seafood will be served right after.

At 13:00, boat starts 3.5 hours cruising into Halong bay to see the amazing karts with different formations: Mat Qui (Monster’s face) islet, But Moc islet, Cap De islet, Trong (Drum) cave, Trinh Nu cave, to a Floating Fishing village to se this unique way of life… and then explore Luon cave (from 16:40 to 17:30). There will be lots of time for swimming, sun bathing. Enjoy a great sunset dinner and relax under the starlit sky before retiring to the comfort of your cabin.

Halong Bay

Early risers can enjoy a morning view of Bay’s landscapes with a cup of tea, coffee, fresh fruits. Sitting on the upper deck, we can enjoy the breath – taking beauty of the rocky Islands rising from the crystal-clear waters of the Bay. The quiet is almost eerie; we can hear birds singing, cicadas chirping ashore and the gentle lapping of the waves against our boat, the perfect soundtrack to accompany the fresh air and gentle breeze. And then explore Sung Sot (Amazing) cave (8.00 to 9:00), swim and relax at Titop beach.

At 09:30, boat start cruising back and brunch buffet will served from 10:30 to 11:30, check out procedure at 11:35. Arrive at harbor by 12:00 noon, and drive back to Hanoi.

Halong Bay

Take flight to Hue in the morning, upon arrival in Hue, you will be picked up to hotel for check in PM: Visit Royal Citadel which was constructed by Emperor Gia Long in the style of French military architect Vauban during the first decades of the 19th century. Before leaving the site of Imperial city we visit Imperial Museum, many precious objects which were salvaged from the Imperial city.

A boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang tomb, Khai Dinh tomb, visit Dong Ba market. Drive to Hoian via Danang and visit Cham Museum & Marble Mountain en route.

Visit Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Take a walking tour of the ancient town center to visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market

Take flight to HCMC that depart at 8:00.

You are picked up to have city tour include Former Presidential Palace, the War Crime Museum, the central complex of architecture: the Notre Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, the Municipal Theater, Xa Loi Pagoda, where keeps the glass vase that on its central altar contains the heart of Thich Quang Duc, a Buddhist monk who felt so strongly about the in humane treatment of his fellows that he committed suicide by burning on June 11, 1963 as a final protest, visit Ben Thanh market and China town.

Saigon – Notre Dame Cathedral

Pick up at hotel at 8:00, this morning we set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for its floating market. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long.

We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of ‘Elephant ear fish’, before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Drive to Cantho for overnight.

Floating Market – Mekong River

Rising early to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, we have breakfast and start our trip with a boat cruise on sparking streams along the endless waterway of Mighty Mekong River to Cai Rang floating market.

There will be hundreds of boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and fish jostling for trade. Sellers advertisers their wares by crying out across the water, we then visit the lush orchards and are treated to a delicious tropical fruits.

In the afternoon, driven to Ho Chi Minh city.

Take flight to Siem Reap in the morning, then have city tour to Rolous Group including Preah Ko, Bakong, Lo Lei, Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan (Cardamon sanctuary), Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang (Royal Bath), Ta Prohm (Jungle Temple), Takeo, Thomamanon and Chau Say Tevoda.

Morning tour to South Gat of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King. Afternoon visit the World Seventh Wonder of Angkor Wat and view sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill.

Luang Prabang – Wat Xiengthong

Breakfast as you sail downriver through areas of unspoiled forest with little villages dotted along the riverbank and perhaps the odd elephant with his mahout. Visit a fishing village and a rice wine making village and perhaps even taste some of the infamous beverage known as Lao Rice wine. Then visit the Pak-Ou Caves, where thousands of Buddha statues are stored.

Arrive in Luang Prabang around sunset and transfer to your hotel.

Now a UNESCO world heritage site, Luang Prabang is a charming, small, dream-like town situated on the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers in a beautiful mountain setting.

From 1353 until 1545, it was the capital of Lane Xang before power was transferred to Vientiane. However, Luang Prabang remained the seat of monarchical power and when the kingdom broke up in 1694, one of the deceased king’s grandsons established a rival kingdom to those in Vientiane and Champassak. Though weakened, the Luang Prabang monarchy endured until 1975, when after the reign of 63 kings it was formally dissolved. Spend the day exploring the temples and sites in what is called one of the last Shangri-La’s of Southeast Asia. Visit Wat Xiang Thong, the most important Buddhist monastery in the country.

Wake up early to participate in the daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks as they extend their black Alms-giving bowls and receive offerings from the local people, including the ubiquitous sticky rice.

AM: After breakfast, take a tour of the temples of Wat Visoun, Wat Khili and Wat Mai.

Then visit the former Royal Palace, now a National Museum where you will find ornate, gilded and brocaded reception rooms, as well as some spectacular artifacts including the Prabang, a large holy image which was given by the Khmers to King Fa Ngum in the 14th century. At sunset, climb the nearby temple-topped hill of Phousi from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the town and the river.

Luang Prabang – Wat Visoun

PM: Take an excursion out of town to experience daily life in the Luang Prabang villages and see the most beautiful waterfall in Luang Prabang. On the way, visit Phosi Market, where you will find such diverse merchandise as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings. Laos is also known for its traditional handicrafts, as you will discover by visiting the Lao ethnic minority villages at Ban Ouay and Ban Thapene and the weaving village of Ban Phanom . Time permitting, you may also wish to drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall where you can splash around in the pools or explore the forest paths. Return to Luang Prabang city by late afternoon and visit the Street Night Bazaar, where beautiful handmade textiles produced by the local hill tribe people can be purchased at reasonable prices.

After breakfast, catching the flight to Vientiane.

Upon arrival, visit the major temples including Wat Sisaket, which contains thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha.

On the way to the sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientiane ‘s own Arc de Triumph. Watch the sunset and spend the evening by the Mekong Riverside.
