One Pillar Pagoda – Hanoi
After breakfast, your private tour guide will pick you up and take you to the colorful local market where you have the chance to learn about ingredients, flavors and gain real insight into local life. Next, we head to the cooking class for a short talk on the art of Hanoian gastronomy, as well as learn how local herbs, vegetables, and spices are used in Hanoian cuisine, not to mention receiving the secret recipes of Vietnamese cuisine from the chef. This afternoon, we will embark on the city tour of the vibrant Hanoi, starting with temple of literature, the first university of Vietnam and a symbol for the studiousness of the Vietnamese. Every year thousands of candidates come here to wish for good luck in the university entrance exams. Leaving the famous Confucian Temple, we proceed to explore Hoa Lo Prison , still known as Hanoi Hilton – a nickname given by US pilots during the war. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
A cooking class in Vietnam
We’ll pick you up in Hanoi by 8:30am and drive through the Red River Delta to make our way to the famous UNESCO World Heritage site, Halong Bay. You’ll board a luxury ship for an overnight cruise – while you relax on-board you can marvel at the incredible limestone karsts that jut out of the sea and the thousands of jungle-covered islands that seem to float on the waves. The turquoise waters of the Gulf of Tonkin swirl around hidden grottoes and ancient caves to create an enchanting, timeless world.
We’ll serve you a fresh seafood lunch while you sit back and relax as you enjoy the incredible view with a drink in your hand. We’ll take you to a traditional fishing village where the locals have created an entire town on the decks of their boats, then you can explore Tien Ong Cave before returning to the cruise for cocktails, canapés, and a spectacular sunset. At the end of your day, enjoy a romantic dinner on cruise.
A corner of Halong Bay
Begin the day with a Tai Chi class on deck in the early morning mist or just admire the beautiful scenery as the sun rises over the azure waters. Choose between an excursion to a secluded island with a sandy beach for a swim or join the chef for a cooking demonstration to learn more about Vietnamese cuisine. Enjoy a leisurely brunch while your junk cruises Halong Bay, passing islets and caves as you make your way back to the dock.
Our bus will meet you when you disembark to the port and transfer you return back to Hanoi.

Kayaking in Halong Bay
Upon arrival in Lao Cai (at: 06:00), transferred to Sapa by car. Have breakfast and then we will have a short trek to Catcat village, the village of H’mong tribe in the valley, which remains very generally uncorrupted outside forces. Excellent views of the valley, the magnificent limestone and paddy fields of H’mong village. Enjoy some visits to local families and reach their customs. After the village down into the valley, the Cat Cat waterfall will be visible. A “White curtain” cascade appears, surrounded by flowery valley and deep-green pines. The rocks near the river and waterfall provide a marvelous place for picturesque photos and sunbathing during good weather… Overnight at Sapa.
Cat Cat village – Sapa
Breakfast before private car transferred to Lao Chai village, a village of Black H’mong. Short trek down to river to visit hill tribe house to see their living style and the local woman made their handicraft clothes. Further on along the road, the Tavan village where Dzay people staying can be seen. Visit the village and reach their customs. Free at your own until our driver transfers you to the train station for a night train return back Hanoi. Overnight on train.
Lao Chai Town
Upon your arrival at early morning to Hanoi, our driver will pick you up and take you to a mini hotel nearby the train station for breakfast and taking shower. Then we will transfer you to Noi Bai airport for a flight to Siem Reap.
Upon arrival Siem Reap, pick by our guide and transfert to hotel for check-in. Lunch is included. Afternoon we will continue our visits by Thommanon temple , Ta keo , one of Angkor’s great temple mountains, Ta Prohm with a part of the jungle, Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang a Royal bathing place, Prasat Kravan with unique brick sculptures.

AM: we start our tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom, then go to Angkor Thom(the temple) which was built by Angkor greatest king, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now, then go to Baphoun which is one of the most spectacular of Angkor temples in its heyday; Terrace of the Elephants was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the kings grand audience hall; Terrace of the Leper King is another of Angkor mysteries. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon visit the World Seventh Wonder which is well known as Angkor Wat, which is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Angkor wat stretch over some 400 sq. km, including forested area, Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire.

After that, we are heading to Pre Rup (the pyramid-shaped temple) then to East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, Preah Khan and Baksei Chamkrong that all represent the unique feature of Angkorian sites. Lunch is included.
The afternoon is the time to experience boat trip on the Great Lake Tonle Sap “ Chong Kneas floating village”, which is renowned for its basin of fresh water fish (10 tons/ 1Square Km in the 60s). Visitors may also view the fresh water exhibition where we can see various kinds of fish in Tonle Sap Lake before continuing to visit the Floating Village. Dinner not included.
