However, South Central Coast is less affected by the monsoon. It is cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than North Central Coast.

Quy Nhon is the most beautiful in dry season (January to September). Pristine beach with turquoise water and golden sand – Quy Nhon can please even the most difficult tourists. It is recommended that you travel to Quy Nhon in February – May to avoid the crowd in summer.
Phu Yen is considered as our new attractive beach destination. Breathtaking rivers, mountains and romantic Dai Lanh Lighthouse are also worth visiting.
The best time to visit Ninh Thuan is from April to June. Tourists can enjoy some off-the-beaten-track sceneries such as Po Klong Garai, Ninh Chu Beach, Hang Rai and Nui Chua National Park. Staying in Amanoi Resort in Vinh Hy Bay, the most luxurious resort in our country, will be an unforgettable part of your luxury holiday in Vietnam. Ninh Thuan is also famous for delicious grapes, apples, tasty goat meat and fresh seafood.
If you intend to travel to the Central Highlands, Dak Lak is probably your destination. You should travel in February when the climate is the most pleasant, it does not rain and the temperature is charmingly cool. It is suitable for you to visit coffee farms, ethnic villages, and explore majestic mountains and forests in Yok Don National Park.
Although it is not a peak season, it is fine to visit Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Mui Ne to enjoy tranquil beaches.
– Most destinations have high and low seasons. By planning in advance and traveling in the low season, you can secure better rates as well as avoiding a high rate of local tourists.
– Research about the destinations that you will visit and culture to have a basic understanding.
– Ask local people if you need any information. Local people are extremely friendly and honest.
As affected by the Northwestern monsoon from Laos, North Central Coast will be very hot and humidity is very low. The temperature can reach 40 degrees Celsius.

It is advisable that you travel to Phong Nha – Ke Bang in dry season (April to August). The temperature outside is 36-37 degrees Celsius while it is only 17-20 degrees Celsius inside the caves. This is the most suitable time to go sightseeing in magnificent caves such as Tien Son Cave, Thien Dong Cave and especially Son Doong Cave, the largest cave in the world.
Summer is a perfect time for a beach vacation in Vietnam. Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Mui Ne are worth visiting. Try some water sports such as surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling and parasailing.

– Stay in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or beach resort to receive excellent hospitality service.

– If you travel with your kids, choose an area near the lifeguard station. Teach your kids to remember your hotel address and your phone number.
– Bring some recyclable bags to collect all waste. Remember: ‘Take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints’.
– Bring inner tubes and life jackets; ensure your kids are around you all the time.

In some popular places in North Central Coast such as Hue, Da Nang, and Hoi An, the level of rainfall is considerable. You will witness floods in Hoi An Ancient Town during this season. Nha Trang and Mui Ne are not as affected by monsoon as North Central Coast. There are drizzling rains, however, it may be sunny for some days.
If you want to enjoy a cup of coffee in chilly weather with humidity and wind, Buon Ma Thuot is your destination. It is considered the ‘Capital of Coffee’ in Vietnam. As autumn is not a busy season for tourism in Buon Ma Thuot, you can find a hotel with reasonable price.
Da Lat is another destination in autumn when the rainy season (from April to October) ends.
