8:00 AM, our driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin your journey to the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh, located about 95 kilometers northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, near the Cambodian border.The Cao Dai Temple is a mesmerizing fusion of architecture and faith, often described as a Walt Disney fantasy of the East. Its colorful façade is adorned with vibrant dragons, mystical symbols, and the iconic All-Seeing Eye – the sacred emblem of the Cao Dai religion. Inside, you’ll find a fascinating blend of spiritual figures, where Jesus Christ, Buddha, and the Hindu god Brahma are honored side by side, symbolizing the sect’s unique harmony of beliefs.
After your temple visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, offering a taste of authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a peaceful setting.
Cao Dai Temple
At 1:00 PM, after lunch, we’ll depart Tay Ninh and head to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels – a remarkable section of the vast underground network that once stretched beneath much of Ho Chi Minh City.
These tunnels played a vital role during the Vietnam War, serving as hiding spots, communication and supply routes, hospitals and living quarters for Vietnamese soldiers. As you explore the narrow passages and listen to your guide’s stories, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the ingenuity and resilience of those who lived and fought underground.
After the visit, our driver and guide will take you back to your hotel in Saigon, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.

08:00 AM – Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and depart for My Tho, a charming city in the Mekong Delta, located about 1.5 hours away.Upon arrival, visit the peaceful and beautifully decorated Vinh Trang Pagoda, a renowned Buddhist temple. Then, board a traditional wooden motorboat for a 20-minute ride to Unicorn Island. As you cruise along the riverbanks, enjoy views of natural creeks, fishermen’s ports, and stilt houses perched along the water’s edge.
Your first stop is a bee farm, where you’ll have the chance to taste a delicious cup of authentic honey tea. From there, take a leisurely walk through tranquil villages to observe daily life in the Mekong Delta. Along the way, see the various local transport methods and enjoy the lush scenery lined with water coconut trees.
Continue your visit to a village known for making coconut candy and handmade products from the versatile coconut tree. Discover how local artisans craft a variety of useful items, showcasing their incredible creativity and resourcefulness.
Next, stop at a seasonal orchard filled with tropical fruits. Enjoy a tasting of fresh fruits while listening to live Southern Vietnamese folk music, offering a delightful glimpse into the region’s culture.
After the boat trip, drive to Can Tho, the capital of the Mekong Delta.

After breakfast, at around 6:45 AM, we’ll board a boat for a 40-minute journey along the scenic Mekong River to reach the vibrant Cai Rang Floating Market – the largest of its kind in the entire Mekong Delta. Here, you’ll experience the unique trading culture of the region, with boats piled high with fruits, vegetables and goods. You’ll even have the chance to step onto a merchant boat selling fresh pineapples sourced directly from Can Tho.
We then continue cruising for another 5–7 minutes before going ashore for a short 5-minute walk to visit a local noodle workshop and a rice paper factory, where you’ll see firsthand how these everyday staples are made using traditional techniques.
Next, stop by a rice processing plant and discover the fascinating journey of rice – from husked grains to the polished white rice that graces dining tables around the world.
By around 12:00 PM, we’ll return to Can Tho for lunch, followed by hotel check-in and some free time to relax or explore the city at your own pace.
