Day 1: Hanoi

We will collect you at Hanoi’s airport for a transfer to your hotel in the city – after which you can relax and soak in your first taste of the beautiful ambiance surrounding the capital Hanoi. Spend the evening walking around the old quarter observing the many delights to be seen.

Day 2: Hanoi Exploring

After arriving back to Hanoi, be sure to make the most of your last days in the city. There are many fascinating museums and historic sites showcasing Vietnamese people and cultures that are simply a must-see the first time you are here, some of which include:

  • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
  • Vietnam Museum of Ethnology
  • St Joseph’s Cathedral
  • West Lake
  • One-Pillar Pagoda

Day 3/4/5: Halong Bay

You can spend either 2 or 3 days cruising in the World Famous Halong Bay. Our trips include many activities when you are there including kayaking amongst the serene Limestone Karsts, visiting Caves, and having the opportunity to swim in the cool waters. During your cruise there are some places that are sure to amaze even the most discerning of guests.

After your cruise ends you will be transferred back to your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 6: Saigon

Awaken early for your 2 hour flight from Hanoi to Saigon. After arrival you can enjoy lunch before setting out to get your first glimpse of this remarkable city. Spend the afternoon shopping in the many famous markets. Even if you are not looking to buy anything these places are still a must see for visitors.

Day 7: Cu Chi Tunnels – Saigon

A morning drive will take you to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, located 70 km to the Northwest of Saigon’s city centre. The tunnels compose a twisting maze of underground passages, chambers, rooms and booby traps used by the Vietminh during the Vietnam War. After lunch, drive back to Saigon where you are free to spend the afternoon exploring many of this fantastic city’s popular attractions.

Day 8: Mekong Delta – Can Tho

Beginning the day with an early 7.30am collection from your hotel, we drive to Tien Giang. Upon arrival you will board a vessel to allow you to sail along the famous Mekong River.  You will experience a range of unique cultural activities including sharing lunch with some local people, trying the local herbal tea or the infamous snake wine, and listening to traditional Vietnamese folksong.

In the afternoon the boat will travel along the xep canal, where it will make stops at the coconut candy factory, the local bee-farm and present the opportunity to take a horse drawn cart along the village path to Ben Truc orchard.

Arrive at Can Tho late afternoon where you will spend the night.

Day 9: Cai Rang Floating Market – Saigon

After breakfast, the day’s activities start with the colorful Cai Be floating market. A large collection of sampans from all around the Delta gather here and are laden with a rainbow of tropical fruits and fresh vegetables.

You can make the return trip to Saigon around lunchtime and arrive back to your hotel mid-afternoon. You can spend the rest of the day fitting in Saigon’s attractions that you missed on the previous days.

Day 10: Siem Reap

After breakfast relax until our driver will come to take you to airport for your flight to Siem Reap. After arrival we will take you to check in to the hotel, and then our guide will take you for some Siem Reap orientation and a day tour.

In the evening you can find a restaurant to sit and watch the Cambodian people go about their busy lives.

Day 11: Angkor Temples

In order to see the best this huge complex has to offer – you should take a 2-day tour. Our guide will take you the 7km journey from central Siem Reap to show you around for the day. We are allowed to enter the complex from the less used Eastern Gate which allows you to gain a greater and more peaceful perspective of the area as a whole.

We will spend a lot of time at the Ancient and World Famous Angkor Wat – the biggest religious monument of its kind in the world.

Day 12: Angkor Temples

After breakfast at the hotel we set out again for the second day touring the park. Visit the Temples of Prasat Kravan (Brick temple – 10th BC), Ta Prohm (Jungle temple), and then walk about 3 km to one small temple in the forest. Continue to victory Gate of Angkor Thom, visit to Preah Khan and Neak Pean temples.

You can spend your final evening relaxing before your journey home, thinking about the fabulous journey you have just embarked on throughout many of South East Asia’s most famous and popular sites.

Day 13: Siem Reap Departure

Today we will collect you and take you to the airport for your homeward flights. Either direct from Siem Reap or return to Hanoi for your flight home.
