Ong Temple or Quang Trieu assembly hall is a temple built formerly as the assembly hall for the Chineses from Guangdong, China in 1894. The temple is the place for locals to worship deities such as God of Earth or Goddess of Fortune. Historically, this house is the home of Huynh Thuy Le – the main character in the famous novel called “The Lovers” written by his lover Marguerite Duras.
