This market is busy from the early morning (around 3 AM) to late afternoon. About 400 to 500 rafts and boats packed with vegetables, fruits and other regional products will be anchored along the 2 sides of the river. Ong Temple or Quang Trieu assembly hall is a temple built formerly as the assembly hall for the Chineses from Guangdong, China in 1894. The temple is the place for locals to worship deities such as God of Earth or Goddess of Fortune. Historically, this house is the home of Huynh Thuy Le – the main character in the famous novel called “The Lovers” written by his lover Marguerite Duras.
